Wednesday was another cool and windy day at the Florida State Shoot. Four shooters posted 100 in the Event 4 ShootPro Cloud Preliminary Singles – Joseph Charnigo, Riley Kaufman, Steve Miller, and Zach Nannini. Paul Becker and Daniel Brandeth were the top resident shooters, both scoring a 99. Dominick Reale (FL) and W D Porto (VT) topped the leaderboard in Event 5 T&N White Preliminary Handicap, both having 97’s.
On Wednesday evening “The Florida Five” Miss-N-Out was held. 59 shooters participated in the event. Shooters tried their luck at breaking 27-yard wobble trap targets. Eight places were paid out and in the end, Mitch Loveless took first place and Gracie Pierre was the second place winner.
Thursday’s events include the Event 6 Miller’s Gun Center Preliminary Singles, the Event 7 Crusair Suncoast Preliminary Handicap, and the Event 7a Winchester Walk-Up Doubles. Good Luck Shooters.

The 110th Florida State Shoot began today. With temperatures in the 40’s to 50’s and winds gusting up to 20 mph, the shooting was challenging. Four shooters tackled the challenge and shot a perfect score in the Event 1 Preliminary Singles – Joseph Charnigo, Drew Fryman, Michael Hathaway, and Leonidas Neifert. Carl Chadwell was the top Florida resident shooter with his 98.
Cody Meredith topped the resident leaderboard in the Event 2 Preliminary Handicap with a 92. Garrett Hogfoss of ND shot the high handicap score of 97.
The Event 3 Preliminary Doubles resident winner was Federico Ramirez with a 96. Two non-resident shooters tied for the top score with 97’s – Austin Jacob and Zach Nannini.
